Here’s Your Chance To Meet Girl Codee

ShaaBiggaa and Hiii Siddity met in high school at Brooklyn School for Music and Theater almost 10 years ago and have been best friends since.  Calling themselves Girl Codee, they emerged on the scene with their first viral hit “Chaa Chaa Chaa” back in 2022.  They’ve been making a name for themselves in Hip-Hop, locally, and nationally, ever since. Unheralded? Maybe.  But when their buzz finally catches up to their ability, they will make the world wish they had taken notice a lot earlier.

Both born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, the pair got a lot of their inspiration from older New York artists. Hiii Siddity, was raised in Brownsville and Crown Heights, garnering a lot of her inspiration from The Notorious B.I.G. and other artists from that Bad Boy Records era. Shaabiggaa on the other hand, was raised all over Brooklyn and got most of her inspiration from Remy Ma, which comes as no surprise when you hear her raps.

Girl Codee  have been uploading on their YouTube channel since 2021 and have been maintaining a stable amount of views while staying consistent. The song with the highest views on their channel is ”Chaa Chaa Chaa,” which has over 900,000 views on YouTube.

When you listen to their music, you can hear New York in every lyric. They make sure everyone that listens to their music won’t forget where they came from. When speaking about their inspirations in an Sway’s Universe interview, they speak about how everyone should know the history of wherever their from whether it’s music or overall history.

Get familiar with their game.  These two are not to be played with.
